This book has been written to help students succeed in the externally assessed Level 2 Achievement Standards for Biology. It has hundreds of fresh, interesting, NCEA-style questions, drawn from a wide range of fascinating contexts, to test and hone skills, knowledge and understanding. Some of the questions call for descriptive answers, others require explanations, and some draw Biology concepts and processes together. Many of them are based on the interpretation of information, others involve the completion of tables, and some are as simple as true or false?. Enough room is left to write answers, or draw diagrams, to indicate to students the depth of the responses they should give. Each chapter finishes with two sample NCEA assessments, and full answers are provided.
