Making Science Work is a full-colour Course book for the New Zealand Science Certificate. Adapted for New Zealand from the Science at Work series, it will help students explore and understand the world of science around them in everyday situations.
The emphasis is on science in the real world, and the book includes a number of practical activities and experiments for students to learn from, including experimental design. Where needed, photocopy masters for these activities are included within the book and additional brief teacher notes are given at the end.
